Background and Experiences

Mr. Echeverria was born in Paris, France and is fluent in French, English and Spanish. Mr. Echeverria completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Miami in 2015. Mr. Echeverria enrolled at Florida International University College of Law in 2016, earning his Juris Doctorate in 2019. Upon graduation, Mr. Echeverria passed the Florida Bar and immediately began working at HBO Latin America in what was the first time the Legal Department hired a recent graduate to an Associate Counsel position. During his time at HBO Latin America, Mr. Echeverria handled a variety of complex regulatory matters as well as extensive contract drafting, negotiations and business transactions. Mr. Echeverria was instrumental in the roll-out of the HBO Max Application in Latin America and assisted the business in a smooth merger during AT&T's acquisition of Time Warner.

Mr. Echeverria's internal and external clients during his time at HBO Latin America were from Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, the Caribbean, France, Germany, and the UK. These experiences have given Mr. Echeverria a nuanced understanding for different legal frameworks, and the ability to find creative solutions for his clients - whatever the context.

Before joining Spiegel & Utrera, P.A. Mr. Echeverria was at adMarketplace, Inc., the largest consumer search technology company outside of Google and Bing. There he rose to the position of General Counsel where he handled complex negotiations with top tier advertisers such as Nike, Adidas, and Amazon as well as publishers such as Mozilla Firefox, Afterpay and Klarna. He worked on a host of corporate matters for the company as well as employment matters, managing and expanding the company's intellectual property portfolio, real estate transactions, and managing outside counsel.
