Michael C. Welchko lead's Spiegel & Utrera, P.A.’s Chicago office, overseeing the firm’s Illinois operations and representing clients in a wide range of corporate, and commercial matters.

Raised in Illinois, Mr. Welchko combines a strong foundation in economics, politics, and law with practical business experience, having managed his family’s business prior to beginning his legal career. His practice is distinguished by a client-focused approach, precise legal analysis, and a proven ability to navigate both transactional and courtroom matters.

Before joining Spiegel & Utrera, P.A., Mr. Welchko served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for McLean County, Illinois, where he prosecuted criminal misdemeanor cases, with a focus on domestic violence matters.
