A Few Thoughts On Customer Service (Creating A Repeat Customer)
Good customer service is essential to any business. You can offer promotions and lower prices to bring in new customers. But unless you get some of those customers to come back, your business will not be able to sustain itself in the long run. Good customer service is about getting customers to return and sending them away happy enough that they will relay positive feedback about your business to others.
If you’re a good salesperson, you can sell anything to anyone once. But it will be your customer service that determines whether or not your business will ever be able to sell the person anything else. The crux of customer service then is forming a relationship with the customer.

Accountant Can Be Liable For Failing To Detect Fraud
An accounting firm hired to audit a corporation’s finances could be liable to shareholders for failing to detect high-level fraud that led to the corporation’s bankruptcy, a State Supreme Court has ruled. The Corporation retained a large accounting firm as its independent auditor. Two officers of the corporation, who were the primary contacts of the accounting firm, orchestrated a series of fraudulent transactions to inflate the company’s reported expenses. Airline Passenger Can’t Avoid Screening By Not Flying
A prospective airline passenger can’t avoid a secondary security screening by saying he no longer intends to fly and wants to leave the terminal, a Court has ruled. Because he didn’t have ID, he was subjected to a secondary screening pursuant to Transportation Security Administration procedures after he walked through the magnetometer and had his belongings x-rayed. Before the second screening, the defendant told TSA officials he wanted to leave the airport, but they wouldn’t let him.  read article
Web Cigarette Vendor Must Reveal Its Patrons
It was announced that NYC and Virginia-based eSmokes.com have reached a settlement, according to which the reportedly bankrupt company will provide the names and addresses of New York customers who, from 2000 to 2003, bought cigarettes on the Internet from the company without paying state taxes. NYC lawyers say that NYC loses millions of dollars a year from unpaid taxes on Internet cigarette purchases, and they have gone after the online dealers with a series of lawsuits in recent years. The NYC Department of Finance said that 12,500 customers will receive letters demanding they pay back cigarette taxes, about $3 per pack, which is expected to add up to $33 million.
