Background and Experience
During his studies, Mr. Spigner gained experience in a variety of fields. Mr. Spigner traveled across the country competing in several national and local competitions as a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society, as well as the Moot Court Honor Society. In 2015 he served as a mediator in San Diego County Small Claims Court.
After taking the California Bar Exam, Mr. Spigner served as a Post Bar Law Clerk for Criminal Defense Attorney Marc S. Kohnen in San Diego, CA. As a Post Bar Law Clerk Mr. Spigner sat second chair in a high profile case involving laws enforcement’s excessive use of force covered by local and national media, wherein a not guilty verdict was ultimately entered.
Mr. Spigner has been with Spiegel & Utrera since 2017, and his practice is primarily focused on assisting entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small to medium sized business in all areas of business law including, but not limited to: Contracts, Corporate Law; Commercial Real Estate; Consumer Protection; Competition Law; Uniform Commercial Code; Securities Law, Intellectual Property, Secured Transactions, Commercial Paper, Asset Protection; Wage and Labor Law; Administrative Law; Workers Compensation; Prevailing Wage; Private Stock Offerings; Financial Transactions; Arbitration; Mediation; and, Litigation.
