Mike is the managing attorney for the Chicago office of Spiegel & Utrera, P.A. Mike’s Illinois State Bar number is 6304264. His background, training, and experience is as follows:

Mike attended Illinois State University and completed his studies in 2007. He received a Bachelor of Science with two majors; one major in Economics concentrating on Industrial Organization, and a second major in Politics and Government with a minor in Legal Studies.

While an undergraduate student Mike helped manage his family’s business. Immediately following college, Mike attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, MI. During law school he served as chairperson for Mock Trial Board and was given the Outstanding Senior Litigator Award.

After graduating law school in 2010 Mike worked for McLean County State’s Attorneys Office as an Assistant State’s Attorney. Specifically, Mike worked as a prosecutor in the criminal misdemeanor division and focused on cases involving domestic violence. He joined the corporate law group at Spiegel & Utrera in 2012.
