Background

Ms. Satterthwaite was raised in Santa Barbara, California and attended and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society.

Training

Was accepted into the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and received her Juris Doctor Degree in 2001. Immediately thereafter, was admitted to the California Bar in 2001 and the Nevada Bar in 2004. She has been a member in good standing of the aforementioned bars since that time.

Experience

While in law school, Ms. Satterthwaite participated in the mock trial competition and was also specially invited to attend the National Institute for Trial Lawyers training session in San Francisco, California. Ms. Satterthwaite worked for the Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office as a clerk during law school and later as an attorney where she handled misdemeanor cases. She also worked on several criminal matters as a contract attorney with the Law Office of Harlan Antler.

Accepted a position with Spiegel & Utrera, P.A. in August 2004 to be the Managing Attorney of the Las Vegas, Nevada office.
