Background

Born in Miami, Florida where she attended high school and graduated in 1998. She attended the University of Miami where she graduated Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing.

Training

Sandy received her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, where she graduated Cum Laude in May 2007. She became a member of the Florida Bar subsequently thereafter. While in law school Sandy was a Junior Editor for the International Law Student Association Journal of International and Comparative Law and the treasurer for the Hispanic Law Student Association. In 2006, she received the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association Scholarship.

Experience

While in law school, Sandy interned in the legal department of Estefan Enterprises. As an intern, she gained valuable experience in reviewing and drafting contracts, demand letters and researching various points of law concerning business law, non-profit corporation taxation, landlord/tenant law and entertainment law.

Sandy Angel joined Spiegel & Utrera, P.A. in November 2007 where she practices business and corporate law.
